The inside of the The Catherdal of the Incarnation, located in Garden City, Nassau County, Long Island was constructed from 1876 to 1883. Cornelia Clinch Stewart had this church built as a memorial to her late husband Alexander Turney Stewart (The Department store magnate). Architect Henry G. Harrison designed the Cathedral with a 210 ft spire in the Perpendicular Gothic style of the fourteenth Century. The Cathedral became the Protestant Episcopal diocese of Long Island.
